The Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce held its annual State of the Valley event last week.
Newly elected Sonoma Mayor Patricia Farrar-Rivas and Supervisor Rebecca Hermosillo addressed the community, outlining their plans for the year. Outgoing Mayor John Gurney highlighted his accomplishments, including the passage of Measure T, which will fund essential city services.
The chamber recognized Sonoma Roots Natural Medicine as Business of the Year, Sonoma Mentoring Alliance as Nonprofit of the Year, and Cafe La Haye founder Saul Gropman with the inaugural Community Legacy Award.
