There’s a big development planned for downtown Santa Rosa! A developer is reviving plans for a large apartment project on Humboldt Street.
The project, called 425 Humboldt Apartments, would include 309 market-rate units and resident amenities in a seven-story building. The development team says this project, along with another high-rise nearing completion next door, will transform downtown Santa Rosa.
There will be a community meeting on Wednesday and a design review board meeting on Thursday to discuss the project. While some residents have raised concerns about the scale of the project and parking availability, the developer says they are still working on the design and will make adjustments as needed.
If approved, construction could start by the end of this year.
