Sonoma County Seeking Public Input On Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

Sonoma County is seeking public input on updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan.

A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, at 5 PM at Herzog Hall in Petaluma. This meeting will provide information on the planning process and how the public can contribute to identifying and addressing natural hazards in the county.

The County is also encouraging residents to participate in an online survey to gather valuable input. The updated plan aims to reduce the risk of injury and property damage from natural disasters like wildfires, earthquakes, and floods.
