An Antioch man is facing multiple charges after a dramatic police chase that began in Rohnert Park and ended with collisions on Highway 101 in San Rafael.
Casey Joseph Beck, 36, is suspected of leading authorities on a high-speed pursuit Monday afternoon. The chase, which involved Rohnert Park police and the California Highway Patrol, saw Beck drive the wrong way on the freeway and attempt to ram police vehicles.
The pursuit ended when a San Rafael police officer used his patrol car to pin Beck’s vehicle against a concrete wall. Beck was arrested at the scene and is facing charges including assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer and evading arrest.
No officers or bystanders were seriously injured.
