Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center has joined an elite group of hospitals nationwide, earning Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
After a rigorous four-year process, the hospital received official word of the honor at a celebratory breakfast. The ANCC, affiliated with the American Nurses Association, praised Kaiser Santa Rosa for its high marks in patient and employee safety, and overall patient care.
This prestigious recognition places Kaiser Santa Rosa among fewer than 10% of hospitals nationwide and makes it the first in Sonoma County to achieve this distinction. Hospital staff celebrated this accomplishment, acknowledging the challenges they overcame, including fires and the pandemic.
