Two men are behind bars in connection with a woman’s death in Santa Rosa. The woman was found shot to death on a sidewalk in the southwest corner of the city on Monday.
One of the suspects, identified as 38-year-old Domingo Miguel Lopez, was tracked down to a motel room where he was staying with a friend. The friend, 42-year-old Floriberto Sanchez, was detained on Tuesday afternoon, as he was coming out of the motel room. Lopez was then arrested after surrendering without incident.
Lopez is accused of murder and Sanchez is accused of being an accessory after the fact.
