A home in Santa Rosa is badly damaged after it was hit by a landslide.
The earth behind the home in Rincon Valley shifted during Tuesday’s heavy rain, causing parts of the home’s walls and its roof to collapse. The residents were trapped inside until they were rescued by firefighters. There are no report of injuries.
The home was built on the burn scar from the 2017 Tubbs Fire. It also narrowly avoided damage from the Kincade and Glass fires.
