Fans of El Roy’s Express Mex and their bright orange taco trucks have something to celebrate! The popular local favorite is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant in south Santa Rosa later this spring.
Located at 602 Elsa Drive, near their existing food truck on Santa Rosa Avenue, the new restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor seating, and even a drive-through. This comes after the closure of their Petaluma restaurant earlier this year. El Roy’s is known for its streamlined menu of tacos, burritos, and other Mexican favorites, especially their al pastor, carnitas, and carne asada tacos.
The new location promises ample parking, a welcome change from the often-crowded Petaluma spot. El Roy’s will continue operating its five food trucks in Petaluma and Santa Rosa.
