Newly elected Sonoma County Supervisor Rebecca Hermosillo addressed the Springs Municipal Advisory Council, outlining her priorities for her first term.
Hermosillo, the first Latina elected to the Board of Supervisors, emphasized her commitment to serving the community.
She discussed ongoing projects, including improvements to the Springs Plaza, and highlighted the pressing need to support residents facing uncertainty under new immigration laws. Her office is providing resources, including forms to assist those impacted by ICE detentions.
Hermosillo also announced plans for regular evening hours at the East Sonoma County Services Center, starting February 26th, to connect with residents and address their needs.
She stressed her dedication to bridging gaps between local government and the Latino community, and expressed her enthusiasm to represent all constituents.
