Today, officials are aiming to reopen John Reed Elementary School in Rohnert Park.
The school was closed on Monday, as staff cleaned, repaired and reassembled several classrooms that suffered significant damage at the hands of a vandal early Monday morning. The Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District says the suspect or suspects damaged about half of the student spaces at the school.
There was no graffiti, but technology, learning tools and drawings were thrown around classrooms or broken. No arrests have been made.
