Santa Rosa residents should not be alarmed if you see smoke in the air this week.
Fire crews are conducting a controlled burn on a 69-acre property just off Highway 12 near Melita Road. The training burn, which began Monday, will continue today from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Firefighters will be closely monitoring the area overnight and in the days following the burn to ensure safety.
