The Petaluma City Council meets tonight with a significant item on the agenda: the Downtown Housing and Economic Opportunity Overlay.
The Press Democrat reports the council will decide whether to repeal this new zoning, which would have allowed the proposed Appellation Petaluma hotel, or send the issue to voters via a referendum.
Also on the agenda, an update on PG&E’s Potter Valley dam removal project and discussions in a closed session about two lawsuits the city joined against Trump administration policies.
