The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is announcing why it closed a road in Duncans Mills.
Freezeout Road was closed for several hours on Sunday night, following a domestic violence-related standoff. The standoff involved deputies, a SWAT team and a hostage negotiation team. Officials say a man involved in a domestic violence incident barricaded himself inside a home.
The man eventually surrendered and was taken to jail.
