A mother from Napa is now facing murder charges in connection with a crash that killed her two kids.
Yesica Barajas had been facing vehicular manslaughter charges. The Napa County District Attorney’s Office upgraded the charges on Tuesday. The crash on March 16th killed Barajas’ ten-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter. She is also facing multiple counts of child abuse and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
She remains behind bars without bail and is due back in court to enter a plea on August 12th.
