Cloverdale Mayor Announces Bid For 4th District Supervisor

Cloverdale Mayor Todd Lands has officially announced his bid for the Sonoma County 4th District supervisor seat in the 2026 election, becoming the first candidate to declare.

The Press Democrat reports Lands, a contractor and former sheriff’s deputy, is in his fourth consecutive term as Cloverdale’s mayor and previously served on the school board. Lands, who recently switched to “no party preference,” aims to bring a moderate voice to the board, highlighting his “common sense” approach and experience with public budgets.

Key campaign issues include healthcare access, transportation, and a sustainable solution for the Potter Valley Project’s water supply.
