Two Oakland Women Facing Charges After Carjacking In Healdsburg

Two women from Oakland are behind bars on suspicion of carjacking a husband and wife in their 70s near a park in Healdsburg.

Police say it happened at about 5:30 Sunday afternoon, near Byron Gibbs Park. Davina Humphrey and Amina Vaden are accused of forcing the husband to drive them away when they could not start the couple’s car. Healdsburg police say the women also had a child with them at the time.

They are facing several charges, including carjacking, kidnapping, robbery and child abuse. Humphrey and Vaden are each being held on a million dollars bail.
