Emergency Proclamation Could Fund North Bay Road Repairs

An emergency proclamation from Governor Newsom could free up funding for road repairs in the North Bay.

Several roads are still in need of extensive repairs after the major atmospheric river storms this past January and February. Those roads were flooded and some were washed out.

Last week, Newsom issued an emergency proclamation for the seven counties hit hardest by the storms. That includes Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino counties.

County leaders are hoping to get millions of dollars in recovery funds to fix roads.
