Sonoma County is hosting a series of free online workshops this August and September to help residents prepare for wildfire season.
The one-hour webinars will cover key topics like home hardening and defensible space. The workshops will focus on specific areas, including Larkfield-Wikiup, the Russian River, and Penngrove-Sonoma Mountain, with residents in those zones also eligible for a free wildfire risk assessment. While the assessments are limited, the workshops are open to all county residents.
