As the Labor Day holiday approaches, the Santa Rosa Police Department is stepping up patrols to keep our roads safe.
This effort is part of the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. From now through Labor Day, additional officers will be on the lookout for drivers suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, prescription drugs, or cannabis.
A DUI checkpoint is also scheduled for August 22nd at an undisclosed location within the city.
