A Sonoma County-based plastics recycling venture is being investigated by local and state regulators.
The investigation focuses on whether Resynergi was authorized to conduct business at three local sites during the past few years. Two of the sites are in Rohnert Park, though one of them is no longer open. The third is at Resynergi’s test site in southwest Santa Rosa.
The company is also trying to expand and develop its next-generation recycling operation in Rohnert Park. North Coast water quality regulators and Sonoma County officials are separately investigating Resynergi as well.
