Fire On Sunday Displaces Six In South Santa Rosa

A fire in South Santa Rosa on Sunday destroyed four trailers and displaced six residents at the Rosa Vista Trailer Park.

The Press Democrat reports the blaze, which started as a vegetation fire along Highway 101, caused an estimated $150,000 in damages. The fire led to the evacuation of the trailer park and caused significant traffic backups on northbound Highway 101 for hours.

Authorities believe the fire originated in roadside vegetation, and they’re still investigating the exact cause, though it does not appear suspicious. No injuries were reported.
