Hundreds gathered Monday at Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa for a “Workers Over Billionaires” protest against President Donald Trump’s policies and the wealthy they say have benefited.
The nationwide Labor Day rally, coordinated by May Day Strong, aimed to defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other worker programs while opposing attacks on immigrants and vulnerable populations.
Organizers estimate about 500 attended the Santa Rosa event, with additional local rallies held in Jenner, Middletown, Point Arena, and Ukiah.
