A driver is dead after their pickup truck veered off Highway 12 and struck a tree Sunday night.
Officials say the truck was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway west of Dutton Avenue. The driver, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
