Students at Calistoga Junior/Senior High are starting the new school year in a state-of-the-art facility.
After a year of classes in portable classrooms, a new $16 million STEM building is now open. The Press Democrat reports the facility, funded by local school bonds, features 10 classrooms centered around a shared lab, as well as two outdoor learning areas.
Officials say the design is meant to provide a modern and flexible environment for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics programs.
