A major literacy partnership is launching this fall, bringing new reading opportunities to elementary students across Sonoma County.
The Lytton Rancheria of California, Read On, Sonoma!, and the Windsor Unified School District are joining forces to expand a proven, high impact reading program. Starting with the 2025–26 school year, over 1,200 Windsor students will have the chance to improve their reading skills through a program that makes learning fun, measurable, and rewarding.
Since 2020, Read On, Sonoma! has helped thousands of students read more than 59,000 books in a single school year—more than eight times the national average!
