Petaluma Woman Remains On Trial After Rescuing Chickens From Slaughterhouse

A woman remains on trial for storming into a Petaluma-based slaughterhouse and rescuing four chickens.

Animal rights activists took to the streets of Petaluma this past weekend in support of Zoe Rosenberg, who is facing up to five years in prison for the poultry rescue in 2023.

Rosenberg is accused of visiting Petaluma Poultry without authorization four times, allegedly attaching GPS devices to numerous vehicles at the site and then taking four chickens off of a vehicle and leaving with them.
