A 15-year-old girl is in stable condition after being hit by a pickup truck last Thursday in Windsor.
The Press Democrat reports the crash happened in a marked crosswalk on Old Redwood Highway. Police say the driver was traveling up to 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. The teen was sent 50 yards down the road, suffered multiple fractures and was flown to UC Davis Medical Center for surgery.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
