This weekend, organizers expect millions of people across the U.S. to turn out for a second “No Kings” day of protest against the Trump administration.
The rallies are expected to exceed the five million demonstrators who participated in the first event in June. The protests are happening against a backdrop of national tension, including a government shutdown and aggressive federal actions like National Guard deployments and immigration arrests.
In the Bay Area, over 60 events are scheduled, with the largest demonstration expected in downtown San Francisco.
