FEMA Announces 90-Day Window For Public Review Of New Flood Risk Maps

The County of Sonoma announced FEMA has opened a 90-day window for public review of its new flood risk maps.

These maps determine your flood insurance requirements. Permit Sonoma is hosting a hybrid meeting to explain the maps and the appeal process this Thursday, November 13th, from 6 to 8 p.m. You can attend in person in Santa Rosa or join via Zoom. This is your chance to review the mapping and submit technical appeals or comments.

Check the Todd Creek project website for details and meeting registration.
