Former Inglenook Winery Employee Facing Embezzling Charges

A former Inglenook Winery project manager faces criminal charges for allegedly taking over one-million-dollars from wine tank sales.

George Giles Beeker the Third was charged October 2nd with grand theft and embezzlement, according to the Napa County District Attorney’s Office. The case stems from a lawsuit filed by the winery in July 2024.

Beeker could face up to six years in prison if convicted. He denies the allegations, claiming the sales were approved and the funds were used for a winery project.
