A driver dies early Sunday after a pickup truck collided with a fire hydrant and a parked car in Santa Rosa.
Police say the driver was traveling south on Warren Lane near West Eighth Street when the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. The driver was the only occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say it is unclear whether the death was caused by the crash or a medical emergency.
The Sonoma County coroner will identify the driver after notifying family, and authorities continue to investigate.
