$180,000 Going To 45 Sonoma County Art Programs

Forty-five arts and cultural non-profits across Sonoma County are receiving a significant boost in funding. County officials announced that Creative Sonoma is distributing a total of $180,000 through its Arts Impact Grants program.

Each of the 45 recipient organizations will receive $4,000 in general operating support. According to the Sonoma Index-Tribune, the grants are intended to sustain local arts programs and promote community cohesion, with successful applicants demonstrating a broad impact across the county.

The funding for the 2026 cycle is provided by Sonoma County and the California Arts Council, highlighting the role of the arts in stimulating both economic progress and social unity.
