A driver is rescued early Tuesday after their vehicle went about 200 feet down an embankment in Santa Rosa’s Fountaingrove area.
Fire crews were dispatched shortly after 2 a.m. to a solo vehicle collision near Hansford Court but initially had difficulty locating the car due to fog and its position off the hillside. After about 20 minutes, firefighters found the vehicle and called for additional resources.
The driver, the only occupant, was safely removed. Authorities say drugs and alcohol are not suspected.
