Repeat Offender Arrested For Drug Sales

A Santa Rosa man is back behind bars after a traffic stop led police to a massive stash of drugs and over $100,000 in cash.

On Tuesday afternoon, officers with the Downtown Enforcement Team pulled over 28-year-old Eyobell Solomon. Solomon, who was already on felony pretrial release for a prior drug arrest, was found with suspected Adderall and $7,000 in cash.

The investigation quickly expanded to Solomon’s residence on Bock Street. There, detectives seized 25 bottles of Promethazine with codeine and an additional $110,000 in cash.

The situation intensified at the Sonoma County Jail, where deputies discovered Solomon had attempted to smuggle more pills—including Oxycodone and Xanax—into the facility by concealing them inside his body.

Solomon now faces new charges for possession for sale, violation of pretrial services, and bringing a controlled substance into a jail.
