Santa Rosa police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday evening at the intersection of Bryden Lane and Fourth Street, right next to Proctor Terrace Elementary.
The Press Democrat reports emergency crews responded to the scene just after 7:00 p.m. Police spokesperson Patricia Seffens confirms that two people involved in the crash suffered major injuries. Fortunately, both are now reported to be in stable condition.
The intersection was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the wreckage, but all lanes have since reopened. Authorities have not yet released the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved as the investigation continues.
