Hanna Academy’s “Claws For A Cause” Raises Over $165,000

Seafood lovers in Sonoma cracked open more than 650 pounds of crab last weekend to support a great cause.

Per the Press Democrat, the second annual “Claws for a Cause” crab feed raised over $165,000 for Hanna Academy. The funds are headed straight into the school’s specialized programs, including career technical education and a new residential program for students with unique learning and emotional needs.

Attendees didn’t just enjoy the fresh catch; they also bid on silent auction items handcrafted by the academy’s own culinary and construction students.
