Man Charged in Fatal Graton Crash That Killed 19-year-old Passenger

An 18-year-old man accused of killing his 19-year-old passenger in a crash near Graton on Sunday has been charged. On Tuesday, Pedro Lopezsantos was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, two felony counts of DUI causing bodily injury, and a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license. Investigators say he was driving drunk and at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car and hit a tree. His passenger, Jesus Paredes, died of his injuries.
