Over 40 guns have been confiscated stemming from a traffic stop in Sonoma Valley. This past Sunday, 61-year-old Kris Manning Peterson was pulled over after a deputy saw his car had no front license plate. After Peterson showed signs of intoxication, he and his car were searched. The deputy found meth, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, nitrous oxide containers, drug paraphernalia, and three guns including an AR-15. Deputies then searched Peterson’s home, where deputies found over 40 more firearms, including over two dozen handguns, as well as more drugs with intent to sell. Peterson has since been released on $30,000 bail. More charges may be filed against him.
