Homeless Man Arrested After Attacking Family on Joe Rodota Trail

A homeless man has been arrested for threatening people with a knife on the Joe Rodota Trail. Last Friday evening, Three family members were walking their dog on the trail from Stony Point Road. During their walk, they came across a man sleeping under a blanket in the middle of the trail. When the dog barked at him, the man came out with a folding knife, threatening to stab the victims, and lunged at them. After the victims got away unharmed, they contacted police and shared footage of the attack where police identified the man as Darius Clark. They found Clark a couple hours later panhandling near Costco on Santa Rosa Avenue. He was arrested without incident.
