A Santa Rosa church rectory has suffered about $50,000 in damages from a fire. It happened Wednesday afternoon at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church on St. Francis Road. Members of the church called 911 after seeing fire and smoke coming from the lower vents of one of the church’s residential buildings. Firefighters responded within minutes and determined the fire was coming from a crawlspace. They got it under control within a half hour and there were no injuries reported. The cause has yet to be determined but it’s believed to be electrical.
