Over 500 people attended the 53rd annual Sonoma County Juneteenth Celebration in Santa Rosa this past Saturday. It started with a morning march from Julliard Park to Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park followed by a group prayer and libations to honor the ancestors. Over 50 vendors bringing food and arts and crafts were there along with live entertainment. Juneteenth celebrations were also heard in Healdsburg with the Healdsburg Jazz Festival and the city’s Juneteenth Celebration at the Healdsburg Plaza.
