Texas-based company Yeti Coolers is being ordered to pay up. A Sonoma County judge has ordered them to pay over $40,000 in a false advertising case filed in Sonoma, Napa and Alameda counties. The complaint filed last month said Yeti Coolers failed to deliver products by specific dates advertised to customers during holiday promotions, something various prosecutors say has been happening over the last three to four years. Yeti also has to clearly present disclaimers related to delivery dates and cannot offer to deliver products by specific dates without taking “good faith steps” to ensure that happens.
