Safari Nights Held to Benefit Safari West on 30th Anniversary

A big anniversary party and fundraiser was held by Santa Rosa’s Safari West this past Saturday. The annual Safari Nights celebrated the preserve’s 30th anniversary and raised $126,000 for the Safari West Wildlife Foundation’s educational programs. Wonder Bread 5 provided live entertainment. There were also silent and live auction items including a private glamping experience at the preserve with dinner by Chef Dustin Valette of Healdsburg’s Matheson. Recently retired KZST radio host Brent Farris was honored for his support of Safari West over the years, on and off the air waves.
