Teenager Fires Gun In Petaluma During Argument Over a Car Sale

A 16-year-old boy from Petaluma has been arrested after firing a gun. A woman had sold a car to the teen and later found out that the teen had changed the license plates on the vehicle and was attempting to sell it online. The woman then posed as another person wanting to buy the vehicle and met with the teen again on Saturday evening. An argument followed in which the teen threatened the woman, slashing one of the tires on the vehicle, and then fired a handgun once into a vehicle tire. The teen fled on foot but was arrested that night. Nobody was hurt. The firearm hasn’t been recovered.
