Santa Rosa police recovered a loaded handgun during a traffic stop. Early Sunday morning, an officer saw a truck speeding in the area of Sonoma Avenue and D Street. The officer pulled over the truck and found two AR-15 rifle magazines and one unregistered, loaded 9mm polymer 80 handgun in the center console. The driver, 21-year-old Frank Pomilia, was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm in a public place and possession of a loaded and concealed firearm in a vehicle.
