Carbon Hotspots Found Along California Coast

A discovery near the California coast is going global. Scientists found carbon hot spots on the ocean floor for the first time. This spans six-thousand square miles from Mendocino County to San Mateo County. The amount is said to be equivalent to the carbon dioxide emissions of seven-million cars driven for one year. The research team is now working to help other countries identify carbon hot spots along their own coastlines.
