Providence is closing its outpatient labs at several hospitals in California, including some in the North Bay. Outpatient services will be scaled back on March 18th, but the health care system hasn’t said which hospitals will be impacted. The Napa Valley Register reports Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa is one of them. Locally, Providence also owns Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Petaluma Valley Hospital and Healdsburg Hospital. Providence says no jobs will be affected.
