Santa Rosa Police have arrested two people for attacking a teenager who was walking to school. This week, police arrested 19-year-old Joshua Bazan Ortiz and 25-year-old Victor Garcia-Roman for assault, and participating and assisting in criminal street gang activity. Police say that the two beat up a 13-year-old boy, who had been attacked while walking to school on the morning of March 14th. Bazan Ortiz is believed to have been the main aggressor; police say Ortiz punched the victim multiple times and then kicked him in the head while he was on the ground. The victim was injured but didn’t require medical attention. Bazan Ortiz was charged for graffiti vandalism because he spray painted multiple fences at Roseland Elementary School with gang related graffiti.
