Forecasters are calling for a slightly cooler week in the North Bay. That’s after several days of excessive heat during Fourth of July weekend. The cool-down has already started in Santa Rosa. The high at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport fell from 101 degrees on Saturday to 86 degrees on Sunday. The airport is expected to see a high of 92 degrees today. Thursday is expected to be the hottest day of the week in Santa Rosa, with temperatures nearing 100 degrees. A heat advisory remains in effect through Friday at eight p.m.
