A Sonoma County man has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the torture, abuse, and kidnapping of his three adopted children. Jose Centeno of Rohnert Park was found guilty Tuesday on all charges following a jury trial. He was sentenced to six consecutive sentences of life in prison without the possibility of parole, three consecutive life sentences, and an additional 39 years in the California Department of Corrections. The children were kept captive in their home for years and subjected to horrific conditions. One of the children, Kaya Marie Centeno, has been missing since 2012.
